New Character System
Today was a great day. It marked the day of removing the last of the low poly assets from the game and moving toward the poly count we wanted, as well as getting some of the real systems such as characters started. Our goal is to have characters that are unique and varied throughout the world, and without a dedicated art staff we need to think a bit more procedural than straight up designed. As such we are using a system that allows us to define the characters using 'DNA' and 'Recipes' that will let us create and save characters in the world as the player comes across them.
